Daf\u00fcr gibt es viele Gr\u00fcnde: Es ist weniger sch\u00e4dlich als Rauchen, macht weniger s\u00fcchtig und ist vor allem viel g\u00fcnstiger. Deshalb h\u00f6ren viele Menschen mit dem Rauchen auf und fangen an zu dampfen, was zu einer Verbesserung ihrer Gesundheit und ihrer Finanzen f\u00fchrt!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Was w\u00fcrde also passieren, wenn unkluge politische Entscheidungstr\u00e4ger diesen finanziellen Anreiz abschaffen? Wahrscheinlich eine Katastrophe f\u00fcr die \u00f6ffentliche Gesundheit \u2013 die Menschen w\u00fcrden weiterhin rauchen.<\/p>\n<p>Die Europ\u00e4ische Union \u00fcberpr\u00fcft derzeit die Tabaksteuerrichtlinie, die die Besteuerung von Zigaretten und E-Zigaretten regelt. Viele Politiker und Kritiker des Dampfens fordern, E-Zigaretten genauso hoch zu besteuern wie herk\u00f6mmliche Zigaretten. Dies h\u00e4tte katastrophale Folgen f\u00fcr Dampfer und die \u00f6ffentliche Gesundheit, da das Dampfen dadurch teurer w\u00fcrde und f\u00fcr Raucher, die aufh\u00f6ren m\u00f6chten, unattraktiver w\u00fcrde.<\/p>\n<p>Deshalb ist es absolut entscheidend, dass wir auf die \u00f6ffentliche Konsultation reagieren, die zahlreiche Fragen zu \u201cneuen Produkten\u201d \u2013 insbesondere E-Zigaretten \u2013 stellt. EU-Politiker sind der Ansicht, dass nicht genug getan wird, um \u201cmit den Marktentwicklungen und dem Markteintritt neuer Produkte Schritt zu halten\u201d.
