Andris Gobi\u0146\u0161, ein lettisches Mitglied des EWSA, w\u00e4hlte den letzten Moment eines langen Prozesses, um 24 \u00c4nderungsantr\u00e4ge zur\u00fcckzuziehen, die dem Entwurf jeglichen wirtschaftlichen Realismus und die Notwendigkeit der Schadensminderung geraubt h\u00e4tten.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Der Zeitpunkt wirft eine entscheidende Frage auf: Handelt es sich um eine echte, sp\u00e4te Erkenntnis oder um eine koordinierte Strategie, um eine sinnvolle Debatte zu umgehen?<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>Anfechtung eines Entwurfs gem\u00e4\u00df 80%, ohne \u201cetwas zu wissen\u201d<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Das Auff\u00e4lligste an Gobi\u0146\u0161\u2019 Intervention ist der Widerspruch in seiner eigenen Position. Berichten zufolge gab Gobi\u0146\u0161 an, nur \u00fcber geringe Fachkenntnisse in komplexen fiskalischen Fragen und Schadensminimierung zu verf\u00fcgen. Trotz dieses selbst eingestandenen Mangels an Expertise schlug er jedoch eine \u00c4nderung von Artikel 80% des Entwurfs vor.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Diese \u00c4nderungen w\u00fcrden Bedenken hinsichtlich der Verh\u00e4ltnism\u00e4\u00dfigkeit und wirtschaftlichen Tragf\u00e4higkeit der Steuerreform systematisch ausr\u00e4umen (Bedenken, die bereits von mehreren Mitgliedstaaten ge\u00e4u\u00dfert und in vielen F\u00e4llen vom Rat zur\u00fcckgewiesen wurden). Stattdessen w\u00fcrden sie h\u00f6here Preise f\u00fcr alle Produkte einf\u00fchren und Warnungen vor dem rasanten Anstieg des illegalen Handels in Regionen wie Lettland ignorieren, indem sie sich einfach auf \u201cklare Leitlinien\u201d der Europ\u00e4ischen Kommission berufen. Es handelt sich um ein b\u00fcrokratisches Man\u00f6ver, das ein wachsendes Problem ignoriert, weil die Richtlinien besagen, dass alles in Ordnung ist.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>Eine Strategie, die zum Scheitern verurteilt ist?<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Warum wartet man bis zur letzten Sitzung, um solch grundlegende \u00c4nderungen vorzunehmen? In der EU-Politik ist diese \u201cLast-Minute-Einbringung\u201d eine klassische Taktik, um den Beteiligten Zeit f\u00fcr Analyse und Einspruch zu nehmen. Als diese 24 Vorschl\u00e4ge vorgelegt wurden, war das Zeitfenster f\u00fcr eine ausgewogene Diskussion praktisch geschlossen (die Abstimmung findet heute, am 18. Februar, statt).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dieses Man\u00f6ver wirkt verd\u00e4chtig nach einem \u201cPlan B\u201d. Monatelang versuchten die Europ\u00e4ische Kommission und ihre verb\u00fcndeten NGOs, den demokratischen Prozess zu untergraben, indem sie die Stimme der \u00d6ffentlichkeit angriffen. Eine Untersuchung von <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/clearingtheair.eu\/en\/post\/investigation-how-a-mysterious-ngo-is-smearing-ordinary-people-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">F\u00fcr Klarheit sorgen<\/span><\/i> <\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">K\u00fcrzlich wurde aufgedeckt, wie eine von Bloomberg finanzierte Nichtregierungsorganisation namens Impact Unfiltered daran gearbeitet hat, 18.000 Stellungnahmen im Rahmen einer Konsultation als \u201cgef\u00e4lscht\u201d oder \u201cvon der Tabakindustrie kontrolliert\u201d zu diffamieren.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dieser Versuch scheiterte, als die Datenanalyse ergab, dass die Einsendungen von echten Menschen stammten \u2013 europ\u00e4ischen Dampfern, Nutzern von E-Zigarettenbeuteln und B\u00fcrgern \u2013 und nicht von Bots der Industrie.
