Februar 2026 \u2013 Die World Vapers' Alliance (WVA) warnt vor der EU-Kommission \u201cAgenda f\u00fcr \u201dBessere Regulierung\u201c<\/a> entfernt sich von ihrem eigentlichen Zweck, indem sie die B\u00fcrger, denen sie angeblich dient, an den Rand dr\u00e4ngt und Konsultationen als blo\u00dfe Formalit\u00e4ten statt als Grundlage f\u00fcr evidenzbasierte Politikgestaltung nutzt. Beitrag<\/a> auf den Aufruf der Kommission zur Vorlage von Beweismitteln, Die WVA betont, dass die B\u00fcrgerinnen und B\u00fcrger im Mittelpunkt der EU-Gesetzgebung stehen und eine echte, praktische Chance erhalten m\u00fcssen, Regeln zu gestalten, die sich direkt auf ihr Leben auswirken.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cTausende von B\u00fcrgern nehmen sich die Zeit, in gutem Glauben an den Konsultationen der EU teilzunehmen. Wenn ihre Ansichten jedoch nicht mit der politischen Linie der Kommission \u00fcbereinstimmen, werden sie oft abgetan oder als illegitim dargestellt.\u201d<\/em><\/strong> sagte Alberto G\u00f3mez Hern\u00e1ndez, Policy Manager der World Vapers' Alliance. \u201cDas ist keine ernsthafte \u00f6ffentliche Konsultation, sondern reine Formsache. Wenn die Kommission Vertrauen gewinnen will, muss sie damit beginnen, die Menschen zu respektieren, die sie angeblich konsultiert.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Ein k\u00fcrzlich Untersuchung zur Luftreinigung <\/a>\u00a0Es wurde aufgedeckt, wie eine wenig bekannte Nichtregierungsorganisation dazu benutzt wurde, gew\u00f6hnliche Europ\u00e4er zu diffamieren, die sich an der Konsultation zur Tabaksteuerrichtlinie beteiligt hatten. Ihre Stellungnahmen wurden als \u201cgef\u00e4lscht\u201d oder von der Tabakindustrie gesteuert abgestempelt, nur weil sie den Ansatz der Kommission ablehnten. Diese Darstellung diente anschlie\u00dfend als Rechtfertigung daf\u00fcr, Tausende kritischer Stellungnahmen zu ignorieren und die \u00f6ffentliche Meinung somit als Hindernis statt als Ressource f\u00fcr eine bessere Politik zu behandeln.<\/p>\n

\u201cEs ist zutiefst besorgniserregend, dass B\u00fcrger, die sich an alle Regeln gehalten und die offiziellen EU-Kan\u00e4le genutzt haben, als Marionetten dargestellt werden, nur weil sie anderer Meinung waren.\u201d<\/em><\/strong> f\u00fcgte G\u00f3mez Hern\u00e1ndez hinzu. \u201cKonsultationen sollten die Politikgestaltung leiten und nicht gegen die Menschen, die daran teilnehmen, instrumentalisiert werden.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

In ihrer Stellungnahme fordert die WVA konkrete Reformen, um das Vertrauen wiederherzustellen und die Initiative \u201cBessere Rechtsetzung\u201d ihrem Namen gerecht werden zu lassen. Dazu geh\u00f6ren strengere Schutzma\u00dfnahmen gegen die Umgehung von Konsultationsschritten, mehr Transparenz bei Ausnahmen und Folgenabsch\u00e4tzungen sowie eine klare Verpflichtung der Kommission, darzulegen, wie ihre Vorschl\u00e4ge die Erkenntnisse und die von den B\u00fcrgern ge\u00e4u\u00dferten Ansichten widerspiegeln.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
