Die World Vapers' Alliance (WVA) lehnt den k\u00fcrzlich vom polnischen Ministerrat verabschiedeten Gesetzentwurf, der eine Verbrauchssteuer auf Nikotinbeutel und andere Nikotinprodukte, einschlie\u00dflich E-Zigaretten, vorsieht, entschieden ab. Die WVA bezeichnete den vom Finanzminister vorgeschlagenen Gesetzentwurf als \u2019verfehlte Politik<\/i>\u201d, und f\u00fcgte hinzu, dass dies die Bem\u00fchungen im Bereich der \u00f6ffentlichen Gesundheit zu untergraben drohe, indem weniger sch\u00e4dliche Alternativen zum Rauchen teurer und weniger zug\u00e4nglich gemacht w\u00fcrden.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Michael Landl, Direktor der World Vapers' Alliance, kommentierte die Gesetzesma\u00dfnahme wie folgt: \u2019Durch die Erh\u00f6hung der Preise f\u00fcr sicherere Nikotinalternativen treibt die polnische Regierung die Menschen faktisch zur\u00fcck zu t\u00f6dlichen Zigaretten. Diese kurzsichtige Steuererh\u00f6hung wird verheerende Folgen f\u00fcr die \u00f6ffentliche Gesundheit haben.<\/i>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Die WVA sagt, dass die polnische Regierung selbst einger\u00e4umt hat, dass diese Regelungen\u00a0\u201cdie Verf\u00fcgbarkeit bisher unversteuerter Ersatzprodukte f\u00fcr traditionelle Tabakwaren einschr\u00e4nken\u201d<\/i>\u00a0offenbart eine eklatante Missachtung der Grunds\u00e4tze der Schadensminimierung.<\/p>\n

Dieser Ansatz widerspricht der \u00fcberw\u00e4ltigenden Beweislage, die die Rolle alternativer Nikotinprodukte bei der Raucherentw\u00f6hnung belegt, f\u00fcgt die Organisation hinzu.<\/p>\n
