November 2023<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2013 Ein k\u00fcrzlich <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-12781467\/The-end-smoking-Bid-end-born-2009-buying-vapes-tobacco.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bericht<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Aus der Daily Mail geht hervor, dass Schottlands <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.scot\/publications\/tobacco-vaping-framework-roadmap-2034\/pages\/7\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pl\u00e4ne<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Die Regierung plant ein generationen\u00fcbergreifendes Rauchverbot, \u00e4hnlich dem von ihr vorgeschlagenen, und geht noch einen Schritt weiter, indem sie auch ein Verbot von E-Zigaretten einschlie\u00dft. Die Einbeziehung von E-Zigaretten in das Verbot hat bei Konsumenten und Bef\u00fcrwortern von Schadensminimierung erhebliche Besorgnis ausgel\u00f6st.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Michael Landl, Direktor der World Vapers&#039; Alliance, \u00e4u\u00dfert ernsthafte Bedenken gegen diesen Schritt:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><i>\u201cDie Absicht, das Rauchen einzud\u00e4mmen, ist zwar lobenswert, doch es ist besorgniserregend, dass die schottische Regierung erw\u00e4gt, dieses Verbot auf E-Zigaretten auszuweiten. Man darf nicht vergessen, dass der Kauf von E-Zigaretten f\u00fcr Jugendliche bereits illegal ist. Ein weiteres Verbot l\u00f6st die zugrundeliegenden Probleme nicht. Stattdessen m\u00fcssen wir uns darauf konzentrieren, die bestehenden Gesetze effektiver durchzusetzen und die Gr\u00fcnde anzugehen, warum Jugendliche \u00fcberhaupt mit dem Rauchen oder Dampfen anfangen.\u201d<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Laut einem Bericht der Daily Mail wird es allen, die 2009 oder sp\u00e4ter geboren wurden \u2013 also derzeit 14 Jahre oder j\u00fcnger sind \u2013 in Schottland niemals legal m\u00f6glich sein, Tabak- oder E-Zigarettenprodukte zu erwerben. Dieser Ansatz k\u00f6nnte laut Landl unbeabsichtigte Folgen haben:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><i>\u201cWird es Schmuggelbanden geben, die E-Zigaretten von England nach Schottland bringen? So absurd das auch klingen mag, wir haben in der Vergangenheit gesehen, wohin Verbote f\u00fchren. Verbote haben sich als Fehlschl\u00e4ge erwiesen, und auch diesmal ist es nicht anders. Das erfolgreichste Mittel zur Raucherentw\u00f6hnung aller Zeiten zu verbieten, ist wenig sinnvoll und kontraproduktiv. \u00c4hnliche Ans\u00e4tze haben in Australien katastrophal geendet und zu einem florierenden Schwarzmarkt gef\u00fchrt.\u201d<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Landl betont ferner den Unterschied zwischen Rauchen und Dampfen: <\/span><b><i>\u201cDampfen mit Rauchen gleichzusetzen und beides denselben Regulierungen zu unterwerfen, zeugt von einem grundlegenden Missverst\u00e4ndnis des Schadensminimierungskonzepts. Dampfen ist nicht Rauchen und sollte auch nicht so behandelt werden.
