Br\u00fcssel, 7. November 2023 \u2013<\/strong> Der Unterausschuss f\u00fcr \u00f6ffentliche Gesundheit (SANT) der EU hat heute die potenzielle Rolle des Dampfens bei der Unterst\u00fctzung der Raucherentw\u00f6hnung bef\u00fcrwortet.<\/p>\n

Parlament Bericht \u00fcber nicht\u00fcbertragbare Krankheiten <\/a>Die Beh\u00f6rde erkennt an, dass Dampfen f\u00fcr Raucher eine M\u00f6glichkeit sein kann, schrittweise mit dem Rauchen aufzuh\u00f6ren. Die Empfehlung der SANT, das Dampfen in einigen \u00f6ffentlichen Bereichen zu verbieten, hat jedoch Debatten und Besorgnis ausgel\u00f6st.<\/p>\n

Trotz dieser Erkenntnis wird der Vorschlag des Berichts, das Rauchverbot auf das Dampfen auszudehnen, als problematisch angesehen.<\/p>\n

\u201cDie Gleichstellung von E-Zigaretten und Rauchen in \u00f6ffentlichen R\u00e4umen sendet das falsche Signal an Raucher, die aufh\u00f6ren wollen. Es gibt keine Hinweise auf Sch\u00e4den durch Passivdampfen. Der Unterausschuss muss die umfassenderen Auswirkungen, einschlie\u00dflich des R\u00fcckfallrisikos ehemaliger Raucher, neu bewerten. Ein durchdachterer, auf gesundem Menschenverstand basierender Regulierungsansatz ist unerl\u00e4sslich, um sicherzustellen, dass E-Zigaretten eine praktikable Option f\u00fcr alle bleiben, die mit dem Rauchen aufh\u00f6ren wollen.\u201d<\/strong><\/em> Landl warnt.<\/p>\n
