Die Ergebnisse der Umfrage von 2022 erscheinen eine Woche, nachdem die EU-Kommission die zweite \u00f6ffentliche Konsultation zur \u00dcberarbeitung der EU-Tabakproduktrichtlinie (TPD) ver\u00f6ffentlicht hat.<\/p>\n<p>Laut der Umfrage glaubt eine knappe Mehrheit der Europaabgeordneten, dass nikotinhaltige Produkte weniger sch\u00e4dlich sind als Rauchen. Die Zahl der Politiker, die sie f\u00fcr ebenso sch\u00e4dlich wie Rauchen halten, ist um 61 Prozent zur\u00fcckgegangen. Einem Viertel der Befragten fehlen noch immer die Kenntnisse \u00fcber die Art der Produkte und das Risikoniveau.<\/p>\n<p>Michael Landl, Direktor der World Vapers&#039; Alliance, kommentierte die Ergebnisse der Umfrage:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201eWir freuen uns, dass sich immer mehr Gesetzgeber der Vorteile der Schadensminderung durch die Raucherentw\u00f6hnung bewusst werden. Die Umfrage zeigt jedoch auch, dass es viele Abgeordnete gibt, denen grundlegende Kenntnisse \u00fcber die Schadensminderung durch Tabak fehlen, und dennoch werden sie die Zukunft der Tabakgesetzgebung in den kommenden Jahren bestimmen. Die Mythen \u00fcber E-Zigaretten und Nikotin haben viele Regierungen daran gehindert, sich mit der Schadensminderung auseinanderzusetzen. Dazu geh\u00f6ren unter anderem das Vereinigte K\u00f6nigreich und Schweden.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201eSchweden ist das einzige europ\u00e4ische Land, das kurz davor steht, ein rauchfreies 51-Tage-Ziel zu erreichen. Und der Grund f\u00fcr diesen Erfolg ist, dass die schwedischen Gesetzgeber den Verbrauchern zuh\u00f6ren und die Schadensminderung durch ordnungsgem\u00e4\u00df regulierten Snus und eine offene Haltung gegen\u00fcber dem Dampfen unterst\u00fctzen. Gemeinsam mit dem Netzwerk der Interessenvertretungen f\u00fcr das Dampfen verbreiten wir weiterhin das Bewusstsein f\u00fcr die positive Rolle von Nikotinprodukten in Europa und dar\u00fcber hinaus. Wir hoffen, dass die EU-Politiker dem Beispiel folgen und zu einem globalen Vorreiter bei der Schadensminderung werden\u201c,<\/em> f\u00fcgte Landl hinzu.<\/p>\n<p>Die WVA hat au\u00dferdem ein Informationsblatt zur Schadensminimierung ver\u00f6ffentlicht, das relevante akademische und wissenschaftliche Forschungsergebnisse zu allen Themen rund um Nikotinprodukte enth\u00e4lt, darunter die Auswirkungen von Dampfen und Nikotin, Besteuerung und Aromen.
