ROM, 25. Oktober<\/strong> \u2014 Heute ver\u00f6ffentlichte die globale Interessenvertretung f\u00fcr E-Zigaretten eine 7-Schritte-Strategie<\/a> Die neue italienische Regierung wurde aufgefordert, die Raucherquote zu senken. Nach der Ernennung der neuen italienischen Regierung \u00fcbermittelte die World Vapers' Alliance (WVA) gemeinsam mit ihrer italienischen Partnerorganisation ANPVU den Vertretern der Regierungsparteien Empfehlungen zur Reduzierung des Rauchens und zur Bek\u00e4mpfung rauchbedingter Todesf\u00e4lle.<\/p>\n

Die \u201c7-Punkte-Strategie\u201d wurde im Rahmen einer Pressekonferenz in Rom vorgestellt, w\u00e4hrend die neue Regierung im Parlament ein Vertrauensvotum erhielt. An der Pressekonferenz nahmen Michael Landl, Direktor der World Vapers' Alliance, die Europaabgeordnete Gianna Gancia (Lega), Barbara Mennitti, Chefredakteurin des SigMagazine, und Anna Corbosiero, Vizepr\u00e4sidentin des US-amerikanischen Dampferverbands (ANPVU), teil.<\/p>\n

\u201cIch bin der Ansicht, dass die neue Regierung, die gerade ihr Amt angetreten hat, alle Voraussetzungen mitbringt, um das Thema Tabakgesetzgebung wissenschaftlich und faktenbasiert anzugehen. Bei der vorgeschlagenen \u00dcberarbeitung der Tabakproduktrichtlinie muss die italienische Regierung auf einige grundlegende Punkte in Bezug auf die Gesetzgebung zu E-Zigaretten bestehen\u201d, sagte die Europaabgeordnete Gianna Gancia.<\/p>\n

\u201cInsbesondere sollte Italien eine breite Palette an Geschmacksrichtungen beibehalten, um den Verbrauchern den \u00dcbergang vom traditionellen zum elektronischen Rauchen zu erleichtern und gleichzeitig die Entstehung eines illegalen Parallelmarktes zu verhindern. Au\u00dferdem sollte ein gerechteres Steuersystem eingef\u00fchrt werden, um die Entstehung eines Schwarzmarktes zu vermeiden\u201d, schloss der Europaabgeordnete Gancia.<\/p>\n

\u201cAllein in Italien rauchen noch immer \u00fcber 12 Millionen Menschen. Die direkten und indirekten Kosten des Rauchens belaufen sich auf fast 26 Milliarden Euro. Daher muss die neue Regierung einen neuen Ansatz verfolgen: Statt Stigmatisierung und Verbot muss Italien Innovationen wie das Dampfen f\u00f6rdern. Indem sie wissenschaftliche Erkenntnisse und Verbrauchererfahrungen ber\u00fccksichtigt, hat die neue italienische Regierung das Potenzial, eine Vorreiterrolle bei der Tabakschadensminderung einzunehmen. Unsere \u201c7-Punkte-Strategie\u201d bietet einen umfassenden Leitfaden, um die Ziele f\u00fcr eine rauchfreie Zukunft zu erreichen\u201d, so WVA-Direktor Michael Landl.<\/p>\n

Die Empfehlungen umfassen folgende Punkte:<\/p>\n

    Setzen Sie auf Schadensminimierung im Tabakbereich;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  2. \n

    F\u00f6rderung des Dampfens als Hilfsmittel zur Raucherentw\u00f6hnung;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  3. \n

    Dampfen in rauchfreien Au\u00dfenbereichen erlauben;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  4. \n

    Senkung der Besteuerung von E-Zigarettenprodukten und Anpassung dieser an das jeweilige Risiko;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  5. \n

    Geschmacksverbote ablehnen;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  6. \n

    Das Dampfen soll weiterhin m\u00f6glich sein, gleichzeitig sollen aber intelligente Vorschriften zur strikten Verhinderung des Dampfens durch Minderj\u00e4hrige durchgesetzt werden;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  7. \n

    F\u00f6rderung der Tabakschadensminderung in den EU-Institutionen und -Gesetzen.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Die 7-Punkte-Strategie zur Schadensminimierung f\u00fcr Italien ist Teil der europaweiten Kampagne der World Vapers' Alliance zur Schadensminimierung unter dem Motto \u2019#BackVapingBeatSmoking\u201c. Die Gruppe hat bereits Frankreich, Polen und die Tschechische Republik besucht, um Mitgliedern des Europ\u00e4ischen Parlaments und lokalen politischen Entscheidungstr\u00e4gern ihre Vision der Tabakproduktrichtlinie zur Schadensminimierung vorzustellen \u2013 eine Weiterentwicklung der Tabakproduktrichtlinie.
