Im Jahr 2020 wurde der Gesetzentwurf 810 des Senats eingebracht. Was seither geschehen ist, ist gewaltig. Nicht nur der Konsum von E-Zigaretten unter Jugendlichen ist zur\u00fcckgegangen, sondern auch der Konsum von Zigaretten.\u00a0 <\/span>Laut Daten von\u00a0<\/span>Florida Youth Tobacco Survey<\/span>, <\/span>Im Jahr 2021 gaben lediglich 12,61 % der Highschool-Sch\u00fcler in Florida an, jemals herk\u00f6mmliche Zigaretten geraucht zu haben, und nur 32,21 % hatten E-Zigaretten ausprobiert. Unter den Mittelsch\u00fclern hatten 7,21 % herk\u00f6mmliche Zigaretten und 16,21 % E-Zigaretten ausprobiert.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00c4hnliche Ergebnisse belegen weiterhin, dass ein Verbot sichererer Alternativen und Aromen den Konsum unter Jugendlichen nicht eind\u00e4mmt. Andere Bundesstaaten wie <\/span>Colorado<\/span><\/a> Und <\/span>Arizona<\/span> Auch in anderen Regionen ist ein R\u00fcckgang zu verzeichnen, wobei Arizona die niedrigsten jemals gemessenen Tabak- und E-Zigarettenkonsumraten unter Jugendlichen verzeichnet.<\/span><\/p>\n

Angesichts der Tatsache, dass immer mehr Daten die Idee einer intelligenten Regulierung und des Schutzes durch Schadensminderung als Ausweg aus dem Zigarettenkonsum unterst\u00fctzen, warum versuchen die Abgeordneten der Bundesstaaten immer wieder, Aromenverbote durchzusetzen?<\/span><\/p>\n

Verbote funktionieren nicht; unregulierte Schwarzm\u00e4rkte werden entstehen, weil Dampfer nach Alternativen suchen, wenn ihr Dampfshop schlie\u00dft. Oder schlimmer noch: Sie greifen wieder zum Zigarettenrauchen.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Verbote verwirren die \u00d6ffentlichkeit hinsichtlich des gesamten Schadensspektrums dieser Produkte, und viele sind sich der Vorteile eines Wechsels nicht bewusst.<\/span><\/p>\n

Das Verbot von E-Zigaretten sch\u00fctzt lediglich illegale H\u00e4ndler vor Besteuerung, Regulierung und Qualit\u00e4tskontrolle. Wenn den Landesparlamentariern der Schutz ihrer W\u00e4hler wirklich am Herzen liegt, t\u00e4ten sie gut daran, dem Beispiel von Bundesstaaten wie Florida zu folgen, in denen der Konsum unter Jugendlichen r\u00fcckl\u00e4ufig ist.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
