Seit Jahren versuchen Verbraucher, von Politikern geh\u00f6rt zu werden und warnen vor den unbeabsichtigten Folgen von Verboten von E-Zigaretten-Aromen. Mehr als <\/span>zwei Drittel<\/span><\/a> Ein Gro\u00dfteil der erwachsenen Dampfer verwendet Aromen, die nicht mit Tabak in Verbindung gebracht werden. Diejenigen, die Aromen verwenden, sind <\/span>230 % h\u00f6here Wahrscheinlichkeit aufzuh\u00f6ren<\/span><\/a> Rauchen f\u00fcr immer. Die Universit\u00e4t Waterloo fand heraus, dass\u00a0 <\/span>45% von Dampfern<\/span><\/a> Sie w\u00fcrden auf illegale Quellen zur\u00fcckgreifen oder wieder mit dem Rauchen anfangen. Das w\u00e4re eine regelrechte Katastrophe f\u00fcr die \u00f6ffentliche Gesundheit. Leider werden diejenigen, die darauf hinweisen, von Politikern und vielen Verantwortlichen im \u00f6ffentlichen Gesundheitswesen ignoriert.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Eine neue Studie zeigt nun erneut, dass viele Menschen in die Abw\u00e4rtsspirale des Schwarzmarktes getrieben werden \u2013 und die Quelle ist \u00fcberraschend: Die Wahrheitsinitiative!<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n

Laut einer Studie der Truth Initiative zum Social-Media-Verhalten ver\u00f6ffentlichten E-Zigaretten-Nutzer rund um den Zeitpunkt, als die US-amerikanische Lebensmittel- und Arzneimittelbeh\u00f6rde (FDA) den Verkauf vieler aromatisierter E-Zigaretten einschr\u00e4nkte, \u00fcber 166.000 Beitr\u00e4ge und Kommentare auf Reddit. Die Truth Initiative erkl\u00e4rt: \u201cDie meisten Beitr\u00e4ge handelten von weiterhin erh\u00e4ltlichen Produkten oder von Alternativen, die mit JUUL kompatibel waren. Dies zeigt, wie schnell Nutzer nach alternativen Produkten mit Aromen suchen, wenn nur teilweise Aromen eingeschr\u00e4nkt werden. Die Studie ergab, dass ein erheblicher Teil der Diskussionen auf Reddit die Suche nach Informationen zur Umgehung der neu eingef\u00fchrten Aromenbeschr\u00e4nkungen betraf. Mehr als ein Drittel dieser Beitr\u00e4ge (39%) suchte nach Empfehlungen f\u00fcr Einweg- oder Nachf\u00fcll-Alternativen \u2013 zwei Produktarten, die von den Aromenbeschr\u00e4nkungen ausgenommen waren.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Leider bestehen ihre L\u00f6sungen aus weiteren Verboten und noch strengeren Regulierungen. Doch wenn wir das genauer betrachten, w\u00fcrde es in einer Katastrophe enden. Die Truth Initiative r\u00e4umt ein, dass der erste Schritt f\u00fcr Verbraucher, die mit Teilverboten konfrontiert sind, darin besteht, nach legalen Alternativen zu suchen. Was w\u00fcrde also geschehen, wenn die Truth Initiative sich durchsetzen und diese Alternativen verbieten w\u00fcrde?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Da wir die Nachfrage nicht unterdr\u00fccken k\u00f6nnen, suchen Konsumenten als zweiten Schritt nach Alternativen auf dem Schwarzmarkt. Dort treffen sie auf einen v\u00f6llig unregulierten illegalen Markt ohne Qualit\u00e4ts- oder Sicherheitskontrollen. Zudem sind sie gezwungen, mit Kriminellen, zwielichtigen Akteuren und Kartellen in Kontakt zu treten, die alle nur allzu gern die Nachfrage befriedigen.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Estland verbot 2020 Aromen, und das Ergebnis war, dass <\/span>60% von Dampfern wurde weiterhin verwendet<\/span><\/a> Aromen werden entweder durch Mischen von Fl\u00fcssigkeiten oder durch den Kauf auf dem Schwarzmarkt hergestellt. Daher ist die Annahme, dass Menschen auf den Schwarzmarkt abgedr\u00e4ngt werden, keine blo\u00dfe Theorie, sondern bereits durch die Realit\u00e4t belegt.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Zus\u00e4tzlich, ein <\/span>Geschmacksverbot in San Francisco<\/span><\/a> Dies f\u00fchrte erstmals seit Jahrzehnten zu einem Anstieg der Raucherquote unter Jugendlichen. Erneut keine wirkliche Verbesserung f\u00fcr die \u00f6ffentliche Gesundheit. F\u00fcr Dampfer, die ihre Produkte nicht auf dem Schwarzmarkt kaufen wollen, bleibt nur die M\u00f6glichkeit, wieder mit dem Rauchen anzufangen.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Die Truth Initiative t\u00e4te gut daran, ihre eigenen Forschungsergebnisse zu \u00fcberdenken und ihre politischen Empfehlungen entsprechend anzupassen, aber ich habe wenig Vertrauen darin, dass dies geschehen wird.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
