Die Europ\u00e4ische Kommission gab den Vorschlag am Mittwoch (29. Juni) in einer Erkl\u00e4rung bekannt und begr\u00fcndete ihn mit einem signifikanten Anstieg des Absatzvolumens von aromatisierten E-Zigaretten in den 27 Mitgliedstaaten der Europ\u00e4ischen Union. Nationen<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Eine von der EU in Auftrag gegebene Studie ergab einen Anstieg der Verk\u00e4ufe dieser Produkte um 10 Prozent in mehr als f\u00fcnf Mitgliedstaaten und insgesamt in der EU, wobei erhitzte Tabakerzeugnisse 2,5 Prozent des gesamten Absatzes von Tabakerzeugnissen ausmachten.<\/p>\n

Stella Kyriakides, Kommissarin f\u00fcr Gesundheit<\/a> und Lebensmittelsicherheit, erkl\u00e4rt<\/a> dass die EU mit der Entfernung aromatisierter E-Zigaretten vom Markt \u2018einen weiteren Schritt zur Verwirklichung unserer Vision im Rahmen des europ\u00e4ischen Krebsbek\u00e4mpfungsplans unternimmt, eine \u201ctabakfreie Generation\u201d zu schaffen\u2018.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
