W\u00e4hrend ein abrupter Rauchstopp f\u00fcr manche funktioniert, <a href=\"https:\/\/excommunity.becomeanex.org\/community\/expert-advice\/blog\/2016\/03\/23\/does-cold-turkey-work-best\">95% von Rauchern<\/a> Der Versuch, abrupt mit dem Rauchen aufzuh\u00f6ren, scheitert. Merkw\u00fcrdig ist, dass die Regierung zwar zum Aufh\u00f6ren ermutigt, es aber gleichzeitig erschwert, indem sie eines der wirksamsten Mittel verbietet: aromatisierte E-Zigaretten.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Die wissenschaftlichen Erkenntnisse zum Thema Dampfen sind eindeutig: <a href=\"https:\/\/assets.publishing.service.gov.uk\/government\/uploads\/system\/uploads\/attachment_data\/file\/733022\/Ecigarettes_an_evidence_update_A_report_commissioned_by_Public_Health_England_FINAL.pdf\">E-Zigaretten sind 95% weniger sch\u00e4dlich als Rauchen.<\/a> Sie geh\u00f6ren zu den erfolgreichsten und effizientesten Mitteln f\u00fcr Raucher, mit dem Rauchen aufzuh\u00f6ren. Doch inmitten einer nationalen Kampagne zur Raucherentw\u00f6hnung schl\u00e4gt die Regierung vor, aromatisierte E-Zigaretten zu verbieten \u2013 ein fehlgeleiteter Versuch, das Dampfen unter Jugendlichen einzud\u00e4mmen.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Aromatisierte E-Zigaretten spielen eine wichtige Rolle f\u00fcr Raucher, die aufh\u00f6ren m\u00f6chten. Erwachsene Konsumenten, die das Dampfen zur Raucherentw\u00f6hnung genutzt haben, geben an, dass neben dem Tabakgeschmack die Aromen ein entscheidender Faktor f\u00fcr ihren Erfolg waren und sie vom R\u00fcckfall abgehalten haben. Durch die Verwendung aromatisierter E-Liquids\u2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/32501490\/\">230 % h\u00f6here Wahrscheinlichkeit aufzuh\u00f6ren<\/a> Rauchen ist einfacher als die Verwendung von Tabakaromen.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Laut einem aktuellen Bericht, <a href=\"https:\/\/consumerchoicecenter.org\/why-vape-flavors-matter\/\">\u201cWarum sind E-Zigaretten-Aromen wichtig?\u201d<\/a>, Ein Verbot von Aromen k\u00f6nnte eine Viertelmillion ehemalige Raucher in den Niederlanden dazu zwingen, wieder mit dem Rauchen anzufangen. Jeder Versuch, Aromen zu verbieten oder Rauchern den Zugang zu Alternativen zu verweigern, muss aufgehoben werden.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Im Jahr 2007 rauchte fast ein Viertel der niederl\u00e4ndischen Bev\u00f6lkerung t\u00e4glich. Diese Zahl ist 2018 auf 161 gesunken und setzt ihren Abw\u00e4rtstrend fort. Ein Verbot von aromatisierten E-Zigaretten birgt die Gefahr, diesen positiven Fortschritt zunichtezumachen und genau das Gegenteil des STOPtober-Effekts zu bewirken, indem es Rauchern den Ausstieg aus der Sucht erschwert.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Aus internationaler Sicht galten die Niederlande stets als offene Gesellschaft, die unn\u00f6tigen Regulierungen und Verboten skeptisch gegen\u00fcberstand \u2013 doch in diesem Fall \u00e4ndert sich das. Wenn die verschiedenen Regierungszweige nicht miteinander kommunizieren, entstehen unlogische Regeln, die dem Kernziel wichtiger staatlicher Gesundheitskampagnen entgegenwirken.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Im Sinne von STOPtober appelliere ich an Staatssekret\u00e4r Paul Blokhuis im Gesundheitsministerium, diesen ideologischen Ansatz aufzugeben. Er soll das verfehlte Verbot von Aromen aufgeben und sich stattdessen dem eigentlichen Ziel widmen, die durch das Rauchen verursachten Sch\u00e4den zu reduzieren, indem er pragmatische L\u00f6sungen akzeptiert, die tats\u00e4chlich positive Auswirkungen haben.
