Europas Plan zur Krebsbek\u00e4mpfung<\/a> Wie vom Sonderausschuss zur Krebsbek\u00e4mpfung vorgeschlagen, hat erstmals eine europ\u00e4ische Institution \u00f6ffentlich anerkannt, dass E-Zigaretten eine wichtige Rolle bei der Raucherentw\u00f6hnung spielen. \u201cEndlich erkennt eine EU-Institution an, dass E-Zigaretten Rauchern beim Aufh\u00f6ren helfen. Das ist ein bedeutender Fortschritt im Kampf gegen die durch das Rauchen verursachten Sch\u00e4den und f\u00fcr die damit verbundene Lebensrettung. Es zeigt, wie viel Gewicht die Stimme einzelner Verbraucher hat, wenn sie sich zusammenschlie\u00dfen. Nun ist es an der Kommission, die wissenschaftlichen Erkenntnisse und die Erfahrungen von Millionen von Verbrauchern nicht l\u00e4nger zu ignorieren.\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Die Formulierung bez\u00fcglich der Aromen blieb jedoch unver\u00e4ndert. Die Abgeordneten des Europ\u00e4ischen Parlaments forderten die Kommission auf, E-Zigaretten-Aromen als \u201cf\u00fcr Kinder attraktiv\u201d einzustufen, um sie zu verbieten.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Studien haben immer wieder gezeigt, dass Aromen wesentlich zur Reduzierung des Rauchens bei Erwachsenen beitragen. Mit Blick auf die Zukunft befindet sich die Kommission in der fr\u00fchen Phase der Aktualisierung ihrer Tabakproduktrichtlinie, und es bleibt abzuwarten, wie sich die heutige Abstimmung auf diese Gesetzgebung im Hinblick auf das Dampfen auswirken wird.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
