Landet st\u00e5r over for en relativt h\u00f8j rygerate, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/gsthr.org\/countries\/profile\/tur\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">omkring 22%<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">; Men den m\u00e5de, regeringen planl\u00e6gger at bek\u00e6mpe den p\u00e5, giver ikke megen grund til at forblive h\u00e5befuld for dem, der forst\u00e5r, hvor vigtig skadesreduktion er p\u00e5 vejen til at opn\u00e5 et r\u00f8gfrit samfund.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hvad der tilsyneladende er en nylig beslutning, er at den tyrkiske regering forbereder endnu strengere regler, n\u00e5r det kommer til bek\u00e6mpelse af tobak. If\u00f8lge<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.merkur.de\/verbraucher\/tuerkei-plant-umfassendes-tabakverbot-ab-2040-zr-94257428.html#google_vignette\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Merkur<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Den tyrkiske regering planl\u00e6gger at forbyde alle kontantbetalinger for tobaksvarer og kun tillade elektroniske betalinger til overv\u00e5gningsform\u00e5l. Der er ogs\u00e5 planer om bredere rygeforbud p\u00e5 gudstjenester, uddannelsesinstitutioner, hospitaler og offentlige steder s\u00e5som legepladser og strande. Rygning vil ogs\u00e5 blive begr\u00e6nset i omr\u00e5der, der ikke er \u00e5bne for offentligheden.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hvad der virker endnu mere vanvittigt er, at Tyrkiet planl\u00e6gger at indf\u00f8re et strengt forbud mod alle produkter inden 2040 og h\u00e6vder, at dette vil f\u00f8re til rygestop.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Selvom det kan virke nemt p\u00e5 papiret at eliminere alle nikotinholdige produkter, hvordan fungerer det s\u00e5 i virkeligheden? Sandsynligvis det bedste eksempel p\u00e5 <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/business\/2025\/jun\/23\/australia-tobacco-excise-vape-regulation-war-on-nicotine\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">mislykkede politikker<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> I nyere tid har Australien strenge restriktioner p\u00e5 vapes. Dette resulterede i en blomstrende ulovlig handel og, endnu v\u00e6rre, mafiakrige om nikotin. Desv\u00e6rre, p\u00e5 trods af at det er empirisk bevist, at denne type politik ikke bidrager til et r\u00f8gfrit samfund, men i stedet placerer nikotinprodukter i h\u00e6nderne p\u00e5 kriminelle \u2013 og dermed s\u00e6tter forbrugerne i fare \u2013 synes regeringer verden over at lukke \u00f8jnene for denne virkelighed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bek\u00e6mpelse af tobaksforbrug er et \u00e6delt m\u00e5l, men det b\u00f8r forf\u00f8lges med politikker, der rent faktisk gavner forbrugerne og ikke kriminaliserer dem. I stedet for at anerkende det potentiale for skadereduktion, som vapes har, planl\u00e6gger Tyrkiet at justere definitionen af &#039;tobaksprodukt&#039; og, sammen med cigaretter, forbyde vapes og fratage forbrugerne muligheden for at reducere de risici, der er forbundet med rygning.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Der er stadig tid til 2040, men med den nuv\u00e6rende tilgang synes det ikke sandsynligt, at situationen vil forbedres.
