1. april 2026 \u2014 Nye data fra Sveriges f\u00f8rende forskningsinstitut for folkesundhed, KAN<\/a>, bekr\u00e6fter, at daglig rygning blandt voksne er faldet til blot 3,7%<\/a>, et godt stykke under WHO's og EU's 5%-gr\u00e6nse for r\u00f8gfrihed. Rygeraterne er blevet omtrent halveret siden 2013, med fald set p\u00e5 tv\u00e6rs af alle aldersgrupper og begge k\u00f8n.<\/p>\n

Tallene er sl\u00e5ende. Blandt 18-29-\u00e5rige er den daglige rygning nede p\u00e5 2,9 %. Brugen af nikotinposer og snus i samme aldersgruppe er 29%. M\u00f8nsteret er tydeligt: Efterh\u00e5nden som mindre skadelige alternativer blev mere tilg\u00e6ngelige, skiftede rygere. Sverige forb\u00f8d ikke sin vej til dette resultat, men gav snarere folk muligheder.<\/p>\n

Michael Landl, direkt\u00f8r for World Vapers' Alliance, sagde:<\/p>\n

\u201c"Sverige beviser, hvad skadesreduktion kan opn\u00e5, n\u00e5r politikere baserer politikker p\u00e5 evidens og har tillid til forbrugerne. Sverige har 41% f\u00e6rre tobaksrelaterede kr\u00e6fttilf\u00e6lde og 44% lavere tobaksd\u00f8delighed end EU-gennemsnittet. Denne forskel opstod ikke ved et tilf\u00e6lde.<\/p>\n

World Vapers' Alliance opfordrer EU's politikere til at tage de svenske erfaringer alvorligt. Risikoforholdsm\u00e6ssig regulering virker.
