Nylige tiltag, herunder en\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/worldvapersalliance.com\/da\/voices-unheard-consumers-matter\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">lysshow og en stille protest<\/a>, fremh\u00e6vede denne uretf\u00e6rdighed.<\/p>\n<p>Alligevel forts\u00e6tter det virkelige problem: forbrugernes stemmer ignoreres, mens forbudspolitikker, ofte drevet af magtfulde interesser som Michael Bloomberg og WHO, dominerer dagsordenen.<\/p>\n<p>Denne udelukkelse er s\u00e6rligt farlig, da verden n\u00e6rmer sig et afg\u00f8rende \u00f8jeblik for tobakspolitikken. I november vil regeringer samles i Gen\u00e8ve til COP11 for at forhandle fremtiden for rammekonventionen om tobakskontrol (FCTC). Denne proces har l\u00e6nge sat forbrugere p\u00e5 sidelinjen og afvist strategier til skadesreduktion.<\/p>\n<p>Samtidig er der i Den Europ\u00e6iske Union forberedelser i gang til at revidere tobaksvaredirektivet (TPD), og lovgivningsprocessen forventes at udfolde sig under det irske formandskab for R\u00e5det, der begynder i juli 2026. Den l\u00e6nge forsinkede opdatering af tobaksafgiftsdirektivet (TED) er ogs\u00e5 tilbage p\u00e5 bordet. Sammen vil disse parallelle udviklinger forme fremtiden for nikotinpolitikken i Europa og verden. Dette vil teste, om beslutningstagerne vil st\u00f8tte innovation og skadesreduktion eller forst\u00e6rke en forbudsorienteret kurs, der risikerer at underminere folkesundhedsm\u00e6ssige gevinster.<\/p>\n<p>Klare beviser fra de seneste \u00e5rtier i lande som Sverige, Storbritannien og New Zealand har vist, at sikrere nikotinalternativer \u2013 s\u00e5som vaping, nikotinposer og snus \u2013 reducerer rygerater dramatisk. For nylig er nationale strategier i\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/worldvapersalliance.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Champions-of-Change-Harm-Reduction-Victory.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Gr\u00e6kenland og Tjekkiet<\/a>\u00a0har ogs\u00e5 vist, hvordan pragmatiske skadesreduktionspolitikker kan give reelle gevinster for folkesundheden.<\/p>\n<p>Alligevel synes Den Europ\u00e6iske Union i stigende grad at tilslutte sig Verdenssundhedsorganisationens for\u00e6ldede og ideologisk drevne tilgang. If\u00f8lge en\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/worldvapersalliance.com\/da\/eu-turns-vapers-into-piggy-banks-lives-at-risk-as-eu-commission-pushes-for-extra-cash-instead-of-public-health\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">l\u00e6kket dokument<\/a>, overvejer Europa-Kommissionen en betydelig afgiftsforh\u00f8jelse for alle alternative nikotinprodukter.<\/p>\n<p>Andre l\u00e6kkede udkast til Kommissionens forslag foresl\u00e5r forbud mod vaping-smagsstoffer og restriktioner p\u00e5 nikotinposer. Det er netop den slags foranstaltninger, der har sl\u00e5et fejl andre steder. I stedet for at beskytte folkesundheden risikerer disse foranstaltninger at beskytte cigaretsalget ved at fjerne adgangen til mindre skadelige muligheder.<\/p>\n<p>Men denne tilgang er ikke kun misvisende, den er fundamentalt antidemokratisk. Da World Vapers&#039; Alliance leverede resultater\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/worldvapersalliance.com\/da\/every-life-counts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">100.000 underskrifter<\/a>\u00a0til Europa-Parlamentet, der opfordrede til beskyttelse af skadesreduktion, afsl\u00f8rede det en voksende kl\u00f8ft mellem EU&#039;s politikere og de borgere, de tjener. I lande som Mexico og Indien fratog et Bloomberg-st\u00f8ttet vapingforbud rygere levedygtige alternativer. Vil EU gentage sin fejl?<\/p>\n<p>Der er stadig tid til at \u00e6ndre kurs. EU kan g\u00e5 foran med et godt eksempel og fremme evidensbaseret regulering, der s\u00e6tter forbrugerne i centrum for politikudformningen. Skadesreduktion er ikke et smuthul: det er en livreddende strategi, som det er blevet demonstreret af lande, der oplever historiske fald i rygerelaterede sygdomme. FCTC skal anerkende dette, og EU b\u00f8r presse p\u00e5 for dens inkludering, ikke tr\u00e6kke sig tilbage bag ideologi.<\/p>\n<p>Politikere skal modst\u00e5 pres fra forbudsfork\u00e6mpere som Michael Bloomberg og i stedet omfavne smartere regulering baseret p\u00e5 videnskab og resultater fra den virkelige verden.
