Bruxelles, 15. april 2025 \u2013 World Vapers' Alliance (WVA) reagerer med alarm p\u00e5 Bild Zeitung<\/a> Rapport, der afsl\u00f8rer Europa-Kommissionens nikotinafgiftsplan. EU overvejer en stigning i cigaretpriserne med 30% og planl\u00e6gger, endnu mere skandal\u00f8st, en drastisk stigning i afgiften p\u00e5 vapingprodukter og andre mindre skadelige nikotinalternativer. Med den officielle meddelelse muligvis allerede i morgen opfordrer WVA Kommissionen til at opgive dette hensynsl\u00f8se tr\u00e6k, som ville straffe millioner af rygere, der fors\u00f8ger at holde op, ramme de fattigste h\u00e5rdest og give EU-fjendtlige populister et nyt, st\u00e6rkt talepunkt.<\/p>\n

\u201c"Dette er ikke bare d\u00e5rlig politik, det er en folkesundhedskatastrofe, der giver plads til social uretf\u00e6rdighed.
