Sofia, 25. februar 2025 \u2013 World Vapers' Alliance (WVA) ford\u00f8mmer kraftigt det bulgarske parlaments hensynsl\u00f8se beslutning om at forbyde<\/a> alle vapingprodukter. Denne vildledende politik, udl\u00f8st af en tragisk h\u00e6ndelse, der involverede en sortb\u00f8rs THC-vaping, vil kun forv\u00e6rre det virkelige problem: det uregulerede sorte marked for farlige produkter.<\/p>\n

Bulgarien har allerede den h\u00f8jeste rygerate i EU med 37%, 50% h\u00f8jere end EU-gennemsnittet. Trods denne alarmerende statistik har lovgiverne valgt at fjerne et dokumenteret skadesreducerende v\u00e6rkt\u00f8j, der hj\u00e6lper rygere med at holde op. I stedet for at adressere den grundl\u00e6ggende \u00e5rsag - ulovlige og uregulerede produkter - har regeringen valgt en politik, der vil presse voksne vapers tilbage til rygning eller i h\u00e6nderne p\u00e5 sortb\u00f8rshandlere.<\/p>\n

\u201c"\u201c<\/em>Dette forbud er ikke bare irrationelt; det er farligt. At forbyde regulerede vapingprodukter vil ikke l\u00f8se problemet med ulovlige vapes \u2013 det vil forv\u00e6rre det. <\/em><\/strong>Den tragiske d\u00f8d af en teenager i Pleven var for\u00e5rsaget af en sortb\u00f8rs THC-vaporisator, ikke af lovlige nikotinprodukter. <\/em>Ved at forbyde lovlige alternativer \u00e5bner Bulgarien sluserne for, at flere usikre produkter kan oversv\u00f8mme markedet.<\/em><\/strong>\u201d
\n<\/em><\/p>\n

E-cigaretter er ikke fjenden \u2013 de er det mest effektive v\u00e6rkt\u00f8j, mange af os har fundet til at holde op med at ryge. Kun 3% af bulgarerne bruger i \u00f8jeblikket e-cigaretter, men de er allerede den mest popul\u00e6re metode til at holde op med at ryge i vores land. Lande som Sverige, New Zealand og Storbritannien, der har indf\u00f8rt skadesreducerende politikker, er p\u00e5 rette vej til at n\u00e5 m\u00e5let om r\u00f8gfrihed (<5% rygerate). Med sin nuv\u00e6rende udvikling vil Bulgarien aldrig n\u00e5 dette m\u00e5l.<\/p>\n

I en \u00e5bent brev,<\/strong><\/a> WVA opfordrer bulgarske lovgivere til at genoverveje denne katastrofale politik.
