Bruxelles, Belgien, 23. april 2024<\/strong> \u2013 World Vapers' Alliance (WVA) opfordrer EU's sundhedsministre til \u00f8jeblikkelig handling for at vedtage videnskabeligt baserede strategier til reduktion af tobaksskader midt i forsinkelser i tobakslovgivningen. Opfordringen kommer, da sundhedsministrene samles i Bruxelles til et to-dages m\u00f8de. Michael Landl, direkt\u00f8r for WVA, kritiserer den nuv\u00e6rende politik, <\/strong>med angivelse, \u201c"EU-Kommissionen er d\u00f8v for videnskaben om tobakspolitikker. Det er krystalklart, at sikrere nikotinalternativer s\u00e5som vaping eller poser er betydeligt mindre skadelige end rygning og effektivt hj\u00e6lper med rygestop. EU's sundhedsministre har en afg\u00f8rende mulighed i denne uge til at argumentere for fornuftige reguleringer, der kan forhindre 700.000 un\u00f8dvendige d\u00f8dsfald \u00e5rligt p\u00e5 grund af rygning.
