Den portugisiske regering dr\u00f8fter et nyt lovforslag om regulering af tobaksforbrug, som vil skade Portugals bestr\u00e6belser p\u00e5 at begr\u00e6nse rygning. Regeringen er i \u00f8jeblikket ved at oms\u00e6tte EU's delegerede retsakt fra tobaksvaredirektivet til den nationale lovgivning om opvarmede tobaksvarer, herunder flere bestemmelser om vaping, som ikke har v\u00e6ret en del af den oprindelige delegerede retsakt.<\/p>\n

If\u00f8lge World Vapers' Alliance repr\u00e6senterer disse foranstaltninger et tilbageskridt i retning af en \u00e5ben og evidensbaseret tilgang til alternative nikotinprodukter og vil afskr\u00e6kke rygere fra at skifte til dette sikrere alternativ, hvilket vil presse mange vapers tilbage til rygning.<\/p>\n

Lovforslag nr. 88\/XV har til form\u00e5l at udvide restriktionerne i r\u00f8gfri omr\u00e5der til ogs\u00e5 at omfatte brugen af vaping-produkter \u2013 hvilket effektivt forbyder vaping i udend\u00f8rs omr\u00e5der s\u00e5som terrasser p\u00e5 barer og restauranter \u2013 og at begr\u00e6nse salget af vaping-produkter ved at forbyde onlinesalg.<\/p>\n
