Bruxelles, 7. november 2023 \u2013<\/strong> EU's Underudvalg for Folkesundhed (SANT) har i dag godkendt vapings potentielle rolle i at st\u00f8tte rygestop.<\/p>\n

Parlamentets rapport om ikke-smitsomme sygdomme <\/a>anerkender, at vaping er en m\u00e5de for rygere gradvist at holde op med at ryge. SANT's anbefaling om at forbyde vaping i nogle offentlige omr\u00e5der har dog vakt debat og bekymring.<\/p>\n

Trods denne anerkendelse ses rapportens forslag om at udvide rygeforbuddet til at omfatte vaping som problematisk.<\/p>\n

\u201c"At behandle vaping p\u00e5 samme m\u00e5de som rygning i offentlige rum sender et forkert signal til rygere, der \u00f8nsker at holde op. Der er ingen beviser for skader ved passiv vaping. Underudvalget skal genoverveje den bredere indvirkning, herunder risikoen for tilbagefald fra tidligere rygere.
