Caracas, 04.08.2023.<\/strong> \u2014 Venezuelas ministerium for folkemagt og sundhed udstedte en opl\u00f8sning<\/a> forbud mod fremstilling, opbevaring, distribution, cirkulation, kommercialisering, import, eksport, brug, forbrug, reklame, promovering og sponsorering af elektroniske nikotinleveringssystemer (ENDS), lignende elektroniske ikke-nikotinsystemer (ENNS), forbrugsvarer, tanke eller patroner, genopfyldningsbeholdere til forbrugsvarer og andet tilbeh\u00f8r, konventionelle tobaksvarer (konventionelle og urtebaserede PTC) og analoge produkter.<\/p>\n

Beslutningen kommer to m\u00e5neder efter, at Venezuelas pr\u00e6sident Nicol\u00e1s Maduro bad sin regerings medicinske og videnskabelige team om at overveje forbuddet. If\u00f8lge Sundhedsministeriet er "foranstaltningen truffet som reaktion p\u00e5 de advarsler, der er udsendt af Verdenssundhedsorganisationen (WHO)".<\/p>\n

Folkesundheden vil forv\u00e6rres, og rygning vil betyde h\u00f8jere omkostninger for sundhedssystemet. Derudover kontrollerer det illegale marked ikke salget til mindre\u00e5rige, produkterne best\u00e5r ikke sikkerheds- og kvalitetskontroller, og der betales ingen afgifter.
