Videnskaben, forbrugernes erfaringer og nu det svenske eksempel beviser, at skadesreduktion virker i forhold til at opn\u00e5 et r\u00f8gfrit samfund. Nu har vi en ubestridelig argumentation for, at EU-d\u00e6kkende regulering skal v\u00e6re risikobaseret og evidensbaseret.&quot;\u201d<\/em> sagde Michael Landl, direkt\u00f8r for World Vapers&#039; Alliance.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><em>\u201c&quot;Politik b\u00f8r v\u00e6re evidensbaseret. WHO vil snart klassificere Sverige som Europas f\u00f8rste r\u00f8gfri land p\u00e5 grund af skadesreducerende politikker og udbredt brug af snus. Sverige har en bred vifte af skadesreducerende produkter: vi har snus, nikotinposer, vaping osv. Folk f\u00e5r et valg!&quot;\u201d <\/em>kommenterede MEP Charlie Weimers.<em> \u201c&quot;Sverige reducerer skader, og det fungerer rigtig godt,&quot;\u201d<\/em> konkluderede MEP Weimers.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">For at forst\u00e6rke den svenske models indflydelse sagde MEP Johann Nissinen: <em>\u201c&quot;Det er tydeligt, at rygning dr\u00e6ber, og vi er n\u00f8dt til at g\u00f8re alt, hvad vi kan, for at forhindre disse un\u00f8dvendige d\u00f8dsfald. Sverige er det bedste eksempel p\u00e5, hvordan dette kan opn\u00e5s, nemlig med en pragmatisk tilgang til skadesreduktion. Det er det eneste land i EU, hvor snus er lovligt og popul\u00e6rt, og 181 % af befolkningen bruger det. At indtage snus i stedet for cigaretter reddede mange svenske liv. Det er p\u00e5 tide, at EU-Kommissionen forventer denne realitet og begynder at handle i overensstemmelse hermed.&quot;\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><em>\u201c&quot;Snus har v\u00e6ret brugt siden 1800-tallet, s\u00e5 vi har mere end to hundrede \u00e5rs casestudier, der har bevist, at skadereduktion fra tobak virker. Snus er en fantastisk m\u00e5de at forts\u00e6tte med at indtage nikotin uden de skadelige kemikalier, som du f\u00e5r fra traditionelle br\u00e6ndbare cigaretter.&quot;\u201d<\/em> sagde Carissa D\u00fcring, direkt\u00f8ren for Considerate Poachers. <em>\u201c&quot;Mange lande i Europa fors\u00f8ger at overregulere eller forbyde alternative nikotinprodukter. Politikerne tror, at et forbud mod noget vil f\u00e5 dem til at forsvinde. Vi ved, at det ikke er sandt.&quot;\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><em>\u201c&quot;Verdensdag for tobaksfrihed er en trist p\u00e5mindelse om, at der er behov for en ny tilgang i kampen mod rygning. I stedet for at bek\u00e6mpe mindre skadelige alternativer som vaping eller poser, skal EU begynde at acceptere virkeligheden: skadesreduktion virker!
