02.03.2023, Bruxelles, Belgien \u2014<\/strong> I dag udgav ECigIntelligence deres tredje \u00e5rlige rapport. kortl\u00e6gge<\/a> blandt medlemmer af Europa-Parlamentet om deres synspunkter p\u00e5 nikotinprodukter. Resultaterne af unders\u00f8gelsen fra 2022 kommer en uge efter, at EU-Kommissionen offentliggjorde den anden offentlige h\u00f8ring om gennemgangen af EU's tobaksvaredirektiv.<\/p>\n

If\u00f8lge unders\u00f8gelsen mener et lille flertal af MEP'erne, at nikotinholdige produkter er mindre skadelige end rygning, mens antallet af politikere, der mener, at de er lige s\u00e5 skadelige som rygning, er faldet med 6%. En fjerdedel af respondenterne mangler stadig viden om produkternes art og risikoniveauer.<\/p>\n

Michael Landl, direkt\u00f8r for World Vapers' Alliance, kommenterede p\u00e5 unders\u00f8gelsens resultater:<\/p>\n

\u201c"Vi fejrer, at flere og flere lovgivere bliver opm\u00e6rksomme p\u00e5 fordelene ved rygestop for skadereduktion. Unders\u00f8gelsen viser dog ogs\u00e5, at der er en stor tiltr\u00e6kningskraft blandt MEP'er, der mangler grundl\u00e6ggende viden om skadereduktion p\u00e5 grund af tobak, og alligevel vil de bestemme fremtiden for tobakslovgivningen i de kommende \u00e5r. Myterne om vaping og nikotin har st\u00e5et i vejen for mange regeringers omfavnelse af skadereduktion. Hvordan kan vi forvente, at der vedtages fornuftig regulering baseret p\u00e5 den risikobaserede tilgang, hvis mere end halvdelen af MEP'erne ikke har nogen viden om eller en misforst\u00e5et opfattelse af rygealternativer?"\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

World Vapers' Alliance har for nylig udgivet Politikgrundl\u00e6ggende<\/a> der indeholder casestudier af de mest succesfulde lande, der har taget alternative produkter til sig som et middel til at bek\u00e6mpe traditionel rygning. Disse omfatter blandt andet Storbritannien og Sverige.<\/p>\n

Sammen med netv\u00e6rket af vaping-fortalerorganisationer forts\u00e6tter vi med at sprede bevidstheden om nikotinprodukters positive rolle i Europa og resten af verden.
