Bruxelles, 28.11.2022.<\/strong> Forbrugerne udtrykker deres bekymring over EU-Kommissionens l\u00e6kkede plan om at \u00f8ge beskatningen af vapingprodukter og frygter negative konsekvenser for folkesundheden. Dette kommer fra en Artikel fra Financial Times<\/a> hvori det fremg\u00e5r, at EU-Kommissionen planl\u00e6gger at "bringe beskatningen af nye rygeprodukter, s\u00e5som e-cigaretter og opvarmet tobak, p\u00e5 linje med cigaretter".<\/p>\n

H\u00f8jere beskatning af vaping-produkter vil have katastrofale konsekvenser for dem, der \u00f8nsker at holde op, og vil udl\u00f8se et massivt nyt sort marked for vaping-produkter, sagde Michael Landl, direkt\u00f8r for World Vapers' Alliance.<\/p>\n

\u201c"Kommissionen h\u00e6vder, at h\u00f8jere skatter vil forbedre folkesundheden, men virkeligheden er det stik modsatte. Et mindre skadeligt alternativ, s\u00e5som vaping, skal v\u00e6re overkommeligt for almindelige rygere, der fors\u00f8ger at holde op med at ryge. Derudover er h\u00f8je afgifter p\u00e5 vapingprodukter s\u00e6rligt skadelige for dem med beskedne midler, da de g\u00f8r det sv\u00e6rere at skifte, da denne gruppe udg\u00f8r den st\u00f8rste andel af nuv\u00e6rende rygere.<\/p>\n

\u201c"H\u00f8je skatter rammer de d\u00e5rligst stillede mennesker h\u00e5rdest. I tider med flere kriser, og folk der k\u00e6mper for at f\u00e5 enderne til at m\u00f8des, er det det modsatte af, hvad vi har brug for, at g\u00f8re vaping dyrere. Politikerne skal forst\u00e5, at skattestigninger p\u00e5 vaping vil tvinge folk tilbage til at ryge eller det sorte marked, et scenarie, som ingen \u00f8nsker.
