I midten af maj ramte en chokb\u00f8lge Spaniens vapeindustri: Regeringen fremlagde et lovforslag, der ville afslutte den uafh\u00e6ngige indenlandske vapesektor. Forslaget opfordrer til at begr\u00e6nse salget af vapeprodukter til statsejede tobaksforretninger inden for fem \u00e5r. Specialiserede vapebutikker kan kun forts\u00e6tte, hvis de overg\u00e5r til licenserede tobaksforretninger - et skridt, der ogs\u00e5 ville forpligte dem til at s\u00e6lge br\u00e6ndbare produkter. Lovforslaget ville ogs\u00e5 forbyde onlinesalg af vapeprodukter.<\/p>\n

P\u00e5 en nylig konference forklarede Angeles Muntadas-Prim Lafita, formand for den spanske forening til st\u00f8tte for vapers (ANESVAP), at den foresl\u00e5ede lovgivning betyder, at regeringen \u00f8nsker at monopolisere nikotinmarkedet. "Et land, der er medlem af det europ\u00e6iske f\u00e6llesmarked, \u00f8nsker at monopolisere et frit og uafh\u00e6ngigt marked.
