Det er en bitters\u00f8d afslutning p\u00e5 en lang og smuk rejse rundt i Europa for at g\u00f8re vores budskab h\u00f8rt af politikere og borgere.<\/strong><\/p>\n

#BackVapingBeatSmoking-busturen sluttede i Bruxelles for to uger siden med nogle fantastiske projektioner om Europa-Parlamentet. Jeg har haft en fantastisk tid p\u00e5 vejen, og jeg er sikker p\u00e5, at vi var i stand til at \u00e6ndre nogle meninger og oplyse nogle mennesker.<\/p>\n

Den f\u00f8rste del af turen bragte os fra Spanien, Italien, Frankrig til Tyskland, og vi k\u00e6mpede for vores ret til at dampe og havde det ogs\u00e5 lidt sjovt.\u00a0Her<\/a>\u00a0er en opsummering af de bedste dele af den f\u00f8rste del af denne rejse.<\/p>\n

Torino, Italien<\/strong><\/p>\n

S\u00e5 tog vi en lille pause, og vi var tilbage p\u00e5 vejen. Vi startede vores anden del af turen i smukke Torino, Italien. Der m\u00f8dte vi s\u00e5 mange passionerede italienske vapers, hvoraf mange kontaktede deres politikere, h\u00e6vede deres stemmer p\u00e5 sociale medier og fortalte os om deres vapinghistorier foran kameraet.<\/p>\n

Tip: Selvom det er sv\u00e6rt at indr\u00f8mme som Man United-fan, burde det nye Juventus-stadion v\u00e6re fantastisk.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Gen\u00e8ve, Schweiz<\/strong><\/p>\n

Efter Torino startede de politiske kampe, og jeg tog til Gen\u00e8ve til WHOs FCTC COP9-m\u00f8de for at overbringe vores budskab til delegerede i sm\u00e5 lyser\u00f8de \u00e6sker med alt, hvad man beh\u00f8ver at vide om #BackVapingBeatSmoking.<\/p>\n

Jeg tog til Gen\u00e8ve med den oprigtige overbevisning, at delegerede til COP skal v\u00e6re opm\u00e6rksomme p\u00e5 de enorme fordele ved vaping for folkesundheden. Det g\u00f8r mig trist at se WHO's FCTC s\u00e5 ofte tr\u00e6ffe beslutninger baseret p\u00e5 arkaiske strategier, der har fejlet fatalt tidligere.<\/p>\n

Desv\u00e6rre, og imod al logik, har WHO's FCTC udelukket vapers fra at deltage i COP 9-diskussionerne, og WVA's demonstration blev hurtigt forvist fra omr\u00e5det omkring WHO-bygningen. Ikke desto mindre pr\u00e6senterede vi et st\u00e6rkt udvalg af rygestophistorier fra hele verden i hele byen, hvoraf mange vi samlede p\u00e5 vores bustur. Vi er fuldst\u00e6ndig overbeviste om, at de mennesker, der bestemmer fremtiden for vaping, ogs\u00e5 har brug for at h\u00f8re fra de personer, der er mest ber\u00f8rt af deres beslutninger \u2013 vapers.<\/p>\n

Jeg forlod Gen\u00e8ve med en fornyet f\u00f8lelse af form\u00e5l og stor optimisme med henblik p\u00e5 det n\u00e6ste stop, Bruxelles.<\/p>\n

Vi ankom til Bruxelles med det samme m\u00e5l: Vi skal beskytte vaping mod uvidenskabelig og overdreven regulering. Da Europas plan mod kr\u00e6ftbek\u00e6mpelse er i sin sidste fase, og et forbud mod smagsstoffer kan true vapers over hele Europa, besluttede vi, at vi skal f\u00e5 MEP'erne til at lytte til vapersnes stemme, f\u00f8r det er for sent. Vores ikoniske Vape Bus og vapers' udtalelser blev vist foran Europa-Parlamentet, og mange kunne se i l\u00f8bet af dagen, hvor nyttigt vaping er for millioner af mennesker. Under vores ophold i Bruxelles m\u00f8dtes vi med flere MEP'er og forklarede dem, at smagsstoffer er en essentiel del af vaping. Et forbud ville have s\u00e5 mange negative konsekvenser og \u00f8del\u00e6gge manges chancer for at holde sig fra cigaretter for evigt.<\/p>\n

Heldigvis lytter flere og flere politikere og begynder at se det enorme potentiale, vaping har til endelig at bek\u00e6mpe kr\u00e6ft. Derfor har jeg sammen med vores polske partner, Michalina, leveret 7.000 underskriftsindsamlinger til polske politikere for at sikre, at vores stemmer bliver h\u00f8rt.<\/p>\n

Vapers kan \u00e6ndre verden. Mine synspunkter kan virke idealistiske, men jeg er overbevist om, at hvis vi k\u00e6mper sammen for at forsvare vaping, kan millioner af liv reddes \u2013 200 millioner alts\u00e5!<\/p>\n

Politikere m\u00e5 ikke g\u00e5 glip af denne mulighed. Vores f\u00e6llesskab er st\u00e6rkere end nogensinde, og kampen forts\u00e6tter, og World Vapers' Alliance og jeg personligt vil g\u00f8re alt, hvad vi kan, for at st\u00f8tte vapers over hele kloden. Sammen kan vi vinde \u2013 ikke kun for os selv, men ogs\u00e5 for folkesundheden generelt. Og jeg kan love dig, at vi ogs\u00e5 vil have det sjovt undervejs!<\/p>\n
