Amsterdam, 30.9.2022.<\/b> I denne uge afsluttedes den anden h\u00f8ring om et potentielt smagsforbud i Holland, hvilket endnu engang viser, at forbrugerne er bekymrede over de negative konsekvenser af et s\u00e5dant forbud. H\u00f8ringen modtog mere end 1.500 indsendelser, selvom det allerede er den anden om emnet.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Regeringen indledte allerede en h\u00f8ring sidste \u00e5r, hvor 98% af respondenterne modsatte sig forbuddet. Desv\u00e6rre ignorerede regeringen disse stemmer og pressede smagsforbuddet igennem. Oprindeligt skulle loven tr\u00e6de i kraft den 1. juli 2022. P\u00e5 grund af modstand fra vapers og tekniske problemer i den oprindelige lovgivning blev den dog ... <\/span>udskudt til udgangen af dette \u00e5r<\/span><\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I en kommentar til h\u00f8ringen sagde direkt\u00f8ren for World Vapers' Alliance (WVA), Michael Landl:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201c"Den hollandske regering modtog en klar besked for anden gang: Det er tid til at droppe denne forf\u00e6rdelige id\u00e9 om smagsforbud og komme videre. Af respekt for borgerne og baseret p\u00e5 videnskabelig evidens er det eneste mulige vej frem at droppe smagsforbuddet. Alt andet ville v\u00e6re en sk\u00e6ndsel. At afholde to h\u00f8ringer og derefter ignorere dem ville v\u00e6re en sk\u00e6ndsel."\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

Hovedbudskabet fra de to h\u00f8ringer er, at dette foresl\u00e5ede forbud er dybt upopul\u00e6rt og vil have meget negative konsekvenser for folkesundheden. Forbuddet risikerer at drive <\/span>260.000 hollandske dampere vender tilbage til cigaretter<\/span><\/a> og ville fratage nuv\u00e6rende rygere en vigtig mulighed for at holde op med deres d\u00f8delige vane \u00e9n gang for alle.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201c"Smagsstoffer er essentielle, da de g\u00f8r rygestop mere end dobbelt s\u00e5 sandsynligt som for dem, der bruger ikke-smagsstoffer. At fjerne smagsstoffer ville kun tilskynde dampere til at vende tilbage til rygning, samtidig med at det afskr\u00e6kker nuv\u00e6rende rygere fra at holde op. Vaping har hjulpet millioner af mennesker verden over med at holde op med at ryge og er mindre skadeligt end cigaretter. Under h\u00f8ringen organiserede WVA et lysshow i Amsterdam for at \u00f8ge bevidstheden om vigtigheden af vape-smagsvarianter. Sidel\u00f8bende med den igangv\u00e6rende debat, <\/span>WVA samledes ogs\u00e5 i Haag<\/span><\/a> tidligere i \u00e5r for at opfordre politikere til at st\u00e5 imod forbuddene mod vape-smagsstoffer. WVA udstillede en kunstinstallation foran det hollandske parlament med et simpelt budskab "smagsstoffer hj\u00e6lper rygere med at holde op". I l\u00f8bet af \u00e5rene 2021 og 2022 sendte WVA og dets medlemmer snesevis af breve til hollandske politikere og beslutningstagere for at informere dem om de skadelige virkninger af det mulige smagsforbud i landet.
