I den form\u00e5r WHO endnu en gang ikke at anerkende den rolle, som vaping kan spille for at reducere skaderne for\u00e5rsaget af rygning.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Blandt de n\u00e6sten 150 sider i rapporten afs\u00e6tter WHO et helt kapitel til, hvad den kalder &quot;nye og nye nikotin- og tobaksprodukter&quot;, hvori den gentager allerede afsl\u00f8rede myter om vaping. . Det begrunder dette ved at forklare, at &quot;disse produkter er designet s\u00e5ledes, at eksponeringen for nikotinkoncentrationer s\u00e6nkes eksponentielt over en bestemt periode (...), men er underkastet mindre kontrol af nationale myndigheder og derfor ikke nyder godt af samme grad af kvalitetssikring som godkendte NRT&#039;er\u201d. Dette er ikke sandt. Som navnet antyder, er enhederne designet til sikkert at indtage nikotin, ikke n\u00f8dvendigvis for at eliminere nikotinforbrug. Desuden har nikotin kun mindre sundhedseffekter og er ikke et problem i andre NRT&#039;er s\u00e5som nikotintyggegummier eller nikotinplastre, s\u00e5 hvorfor skulle det v\u00e6re et problem ved vaping?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At holde op med at ryge er en meget sv\u00e6r opgave, og det bliver endnu sv\u00e6rere, n\u00e5r det klares uden hj\u00e6lp. Chokterapi virker ofte ikke, og vi kan ikke forvente af mange rygere at holde op med at ryge natten over af vilje. Vi ved, at n\u00e5r de fors\u00f8ger at holde op, vil de f\u00e5 abstinenssymptomer, og hvis de ikke er i stand til at overvinde dette, vil de vende sig til cigaretter igen. Hvorfor ikke hj\u00e6lpe dem ved at give dem en mere sikker og effektiv m\u00e5de at holde op med at ryge p\u00e5? <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/publications\/e-cigarettes-an-evidence-update\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Vaping er 95% mindre skadeligt end rygning<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> og er <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.qmul.ac.uk\/media\/news\/2019\/smd\/e-cigarettes-more-effective-than-nicotine-replacement-therapies-finds-major-uk-clinical-trial.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">den mest effektive metode til at holde op<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
