Det portugisiske generaldirektorat for sundhed har for nylig offentliggjort <\/span>National strategi for kampen mod kr\u00e6ft 2021-2030<\/span><\/a>. Et af hovedm\u00e5lene er at opn\u00e5 en reduktion af forekomsten af tobaksforbrug til under 14% i 2025 og under 10% i 2030. Alligevel ignorerer planen al videnskabelig evidens og undlader at n\u00e6vne den rolle, vaping kan spille i at hj\u00e6lpe rygere med at holde op!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Omkring <\/span>En halv million liv kunne reddes i Portugal<\/span><\/a> hvis lovgiverne omfavnede smarte politikker for reduktion af tobaksskader, s\u00e5som dem der findes i Storbritannien. Vaping har vist sig at v\u00e6re en <\/span>95% mindre skadeligt alternativ til rygning<\/span><\/a>, og det er n\u00e6sten <\/span>dobbelt s\u00e5 effektiv som nikotinudskiftningsbehandlinger<\/span><\/a>, s\u00e5som plastre og tyggegummi, til at hj\u00e6lpe rygere med at holde op. Dens potentiale til at hj\u00e6lpe portugisiske rygere med at holde op og f\u00f8re en sundere livsstil kan frig\u00f8res gennem evidensbaserede regler, der holder vaping billigt, sikkert og tilg\u00e6ngeligt for rygere. Trods alt ignorerer portugisiske politikere videnskabelige beviser og erfaringerne fra millioner af forbrugere, der allerede er holdt op med at ryge takket v\u00e6re vaping. Planen behandler elektroniske cigaretter p\u00e5 samme m\u00e5de som tobak og truer med at anvende den samme lovgivning p\u00e5 dem. Dette omfatter blandt mange andre initiativer en forh\u00f8jelse af prisen p\u00e5 vaping-produkter, en stramning af salgsbetingelserne (m\u00e5ske et forbud mod onlinesalg?) og potentielt et forbud mod smagsvarianter! Disse foranstaltninger ville presse mange vapers tilbage til rygning eller det sorte marked, hvilket ville f\u00f8re til forv\u00e6rrede folkesundhedsforhold og h\u00f8jere kr\u00e6ftforekomst.<\/span><\/p>\n
