Mandag den 8. november m\u00f8dtes Europa-Parlamentets s\u00e6rlige udvalg for bek\u00e6mpelse af kr\u00e6ft for at dr\u00f8fte \u00e6ndringsforslag til ordf\u00f8rerens udkast til bet\u00e6nkning.<\/h5>\n

Europa-Parlamentets s\u00e6rlige udvalg for bek\u00e6mpelse af kr\u00e6ft (BECA<\/a>) blev oprettet i september 2020 og best\u00e5r af 63 medlemmer af Europa-Parlamentet, 33 fuldgyldige medlemmer og 30 stedfortr\u00e6dere. Udvalgets m\u00e5l er at unders\u00f8ge de foranstaltninger, EU kan tr\u00e6ffe for at bek\u00e6mpe kr\u00e6ft, og foresl\u00e5 foranstaltninger i alle vigtige stadier af sygdommen: forebyggelse, diagnose, behandling, livet som kr\u00e6ftoverlever og palliativ pleje.<\/p>\n

Den 3. februar 2021 offentliggjorde Kommissionen Europas plan mod kr\u00e6ft<\/a> med konsultationer<\/a> p\u00e5 k\u00f8replanen, der l\u00f8ber fra 4. februar til 3. marts 2020, og p\u00e5 rapporten fra 4. februar til 21. maj 2020.<\/p>\n

De udkast til rapport<\/a> "Bek\u00e6mpelse af kr\u00e6ft" blev endelig offentliggjort den 25. juni, og til eksperters fortrydelse i reduktion af tobaksskader undlod den at anerkende potentialet ved vaping i kampen mod rygeinduceret kr\u00e6ft. P\u00e5 det tidspunkt fremh\u00e6vede direkt\u00f8ren for World Vapers Association (WVA), Michael Landl, at dokumentet er en forbedring af Europa-Kommissionens udkast, som \u00e5bner op for smagsforbud og h\u00f8jere afgifter, men ved at ignorere potentialet ved vapingprodukter rammer det stadig ikke m\u00e5let.<\/p>\n
