WHO b\u011b\u017en\u011b ignoruje mno\u017estv\u00ed v\u011bdeck\u00fdch d\u016fkaz\u016f poukazuj\u00edc\u00edch na v\u00fdhody t\u011bchto produkt\u016f a zku\u0161enosti milion\u016f ob\u010dan\u016f, kte\u0159\u00ed jednou prov\u017edy p\u0159estali kou\u0159it. Omezen\u00ed nebo z\u00e1kaz p\u0159\u00edstupu k vapingu, nikotinov\u00fdm s\u00e1\u010dk\u016fm, snusu a dal\u0161\u00edm produkt\u016fm nezp\u016fsob\u00ed nic jin\u00e9ho ne\u017e \u017ee bude st\u00e1t \u017eivoty. Miliony \u017eivot\u016f by mohly b\u00fdt zachr\u00e1n\u011bny, kdyby WHO myslela s bojem proti kou\u0159en\u00edm opravdu v\u00e1\u017en\u011b.\u201c<\/p>\n<p>Rok 2021 je pro politiku ve\u0159ejn\u00e9ho zdrav\u00ed na cel\u00e9m sv\u011bt\u011b kritick\u00fdm rokem. V listopadu se kon\u00e1 glob\u00e1ln\u00ed konference smluvn\u00edch stran (COP 9). Ta ur\u010d\u00ed sm\u011br pro celosv\u011btovou politiku boje proti kou\u0159en\u00ed a vapingu.<\/p>\n<p>WVA uv\u00e1d\u00ed, \u017ee jedn\u00edm z hlavn\u00edch probl\u00e9m\u016f t\u00fdkaj\u00edc\u00edch se COP9 je to, \u017ee protokol k R\u00e1mcov\u00e9 \u00famluv\u011b o kontrole tab\u00e1ku (FCTC) ztratil ze z\u0159etele sv\u016fj hlavn\u00ed c\u00edl, kter\u00fdm je omezen\u00ed kou\u0159en\u00ed, a m\u00edsto toho se zd\u00e1, \u017ee se zam\u011b\u0159uje na boj proti p\u0159\u00edstupu k m\u00e9n\u011b \u0161kodliv\u00fdm alternativ\u00e1m.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMohlo by se zachr\u00e1nit 200 milion\u016f \u017eivot\u016f na cel\u00e9m sv\u011bt\u011b, ale v sou\u010dasn\u00e9 dob\u011b to vypad\u00e1, \u017ee COP9 bude dal\u0161\u00ed protiv\u011bdeckou a protispot\u0159ebitelskou \u0161ar\u00e1dou WHO. Je na\u010dase skute\u010dn\u011b naplnit z\u00e1vazek FCTC ke sni\u017eov\u00e1n\u00ed \u0161kod spojen\u00fdch s tab\u00e1kem t\u00edm, \u017ee podpo\u0159\u00edme produkty sni\u017euj\u00edc\u00ed \u0161kody,\u201d uzav\u00edr\u00e1 Michael Landl.<\/p>\n<p>Ve spole\u010dn\u00e9m dopise se uv\u00e1d\u00ed: \u201cPo\u017eadujeme pr\u00e1vo na rovnost a pr\u00e1vo \u00fa\u010dastnit se shrom\u00e1\u017ed\u011bn\u00ed, sch\u016fz\u00ed a ve\u0159ejn\u00e9 politiky analogick\u00fdm zp\u016fsobem, jak\u00fdm to d\u011blaj\u00ed r\u016fzn\u00e9 protiku\u0159\u00e1ck\u00e9 organizace, z\u00e1stupci farmaceutick\u00fdch spole\u010dnost\u00ed nebo nevl\u00e1dn\u00ed instituce r\u016fzn\u00e9ho druhu (jako jsou ty, kter\u00e9 pat\u0159\u00ed miliard\u00e1\u0159sk\u00fdm filantrop\u016fm, nebo ty, kter\u00e9 se jejich ideologii \u0159\u00edd\u00ed na \u0161ekovou kn\u00ed\u017eku), co\u017e v sou\u010dasn\u00e9 dob\u011b a v\u00fdhradn\u011b ji\u017e bylo ve va\u0161\u00ed instituci zastoupeno.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>D\u00e1le uv\u00e1d\u00ed t\u0159i dal\u0161\u00ed po\u017eadavky:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Po\u017eadujeme, aby zastavili pron\u00e1sledov\u00e1n\u00ed a diskreditaci organizac\u00ed, kter\u00e9 h\u00e1j\u00ed sni\u017eov\u00e1n\u00ed \u0161kod zp\u016fsoben\u00fdch kou\u0159en\u00edm.<\/li>\n<li>Po\u017eadujeme, aby Sv\u011btov\u00e1 zdravotnick\u00e1 organizace nav\u00e1zala p\u0159\u00edm\u00fd dialog mezi mnoha z\u00fa\u010dastn\u011bn\u00fdmi stranami a prosazovala vytv\u00e1\u0159en\u00ed alianc\u00ed v r\u00e1mci C\u00edl\u016f udr\u017eiteln\u00e9ho rozvoje Agendy 2030.<\/li>\n<li>Po\u017eadujeme, aby WHO zastavila opat\u0159en\u00ed, kter\u00e1 de facto zav\u00e1d\u00ed s c\u00edlem zabr\u00e1nit zah\u00e1jen\u00ed debaty o nov\u00fdch strategi\u00edch, podlo\u017een\u00fdch v\u011bdeck\u00fdmi d\u016fkazy, pro \u0159e\u0161en\u00ed u\u017e\u00edv\u00e1n\u00ed tab\u00e1ku u dosp\u011bl\u00fdch na cel\u00e9m sv\u011bt\u011b.<\/li>\n<\/ol>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Members of the World Vapers\u2019 Alliance (WVA) have written a joint letter to the World Health Organization (WHO) calling on it to \u201cface reality\u201d, pointing out that tobacco harm reduction products save lives.
