Zde je shrnut\u00ed toho, o \u010dem jsme mluvili b\u011bhem tohoto v\u016fbec prvn\u00edho setk\u00e1n\u00ed s na\u0161\u00edm pr\u016fmyslem.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">M\u00fdm hlavn\u00edm a nejd\u016fle\u017eit\u011bj\u0161\u00edm ponau\u010den\u00edm z tohoto webin\u00e1\u0159e bylo, \u017ee Dr. King p\u0159iznal, \u017ee NEEXISTUJE \u017d\u00c1DN\u00c1 epidemie u ml\u00e1de\u017ee.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Moje ot\u00e1zka na Dr. Kinga ohledn\u011b jejich pou\u017eit\u00ed slova epidemie zn\u00ed: \u201cCTP popisuje vaping teenager\u016f jako epidemii od roku 2018. Slovo, kter\u00e9 bylo zvoleno pomoc\u00ed fokusn\u00edch skupin k umocn\u011bn\u00ed emocion\u00e1ln\u00ed reakce. Ale od t\u00e9 doby vaping teenager\u016f prudce poklesl a dnes m\u00e9n\u011b ne\u017e 3% teenager\u016f vaporizuje denn\u011b, to nen\u00ed to, co slovo epidemie znamen\u00e1. Ani klinicky, ani v\u011bdecky, ani v obecn\u00e9m smyslu. Jak tedy m\u016f\u017eete o\u010dek\u00e1vat, \u017ee v\u00e1s ve\u0159ejnost jako v\u011bdeck\u00e1 agentura bude br\u00e1t v\u00e1\u017en\u011b, kdy\u017e nad\u00e1le pou\u017e\u00edv\u00e1te takov\u00fdto naprosto chybn\u00fd term\u00edn?\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dr. King odpov\u011bd\u011bl: \u201cAno, tak\u017ee se domn\u00edv\u00e1m, \u017ee mluv\u00edte o CDC a FDA tuto terminologii nepou\u017eila k pou\u017eit\u00ed nejnov\u011bj\u0161\u00edch odhad\u016f u\u017e\u00edv\u00e1n\u00ed u ml\u00e1de\u017ee. \u0158eknu, ehm, \u017ee jsem vzd\u011bl\u00e1n\u00edm epidemiolog. Tak\u017ee jsem si pln\u011b v\u011bdom definice epidemie, ehm, kter\u00e1 je bezprecedentn\u00ed, n\u00e1r\u016fst oproti tomu, co jste o\u010dek\u00e1val, \u017ee je to z\u00e1kladn\u00ed hodnota. Nicm\u00e9n\u011b si mysl\u00edm, \u017ee v\u00edm, \u017ee v\u011bda prok\u00e1zala pokles po\u010dtu u\u017eivatel\u016f u ml\u00e1de\u017ee, a to je dobr\u00e1 v\u011bc. V posledn\u00edch n\u011bkolika letech jsme zaznamenali pokles od vrcholu v roce 2019, ale st\u00e1le je to p\u0159\u00edli\u0161 mnoho. M\u00e1me dva a p\u016fl milionu d\u011bt\u00ed, kter\u00e9 tyto produkty st\u00e1le u\u017e\u00edvaj\u00ed. A na z\u00e1klad\u011b toho, co vid\u00edme u jin\u00fdch produkt\u016f u d\u011bt\u00ed, v\u010detn\u011b cigaret a bezd\u00fdmn\u00fdch cigaret a dal\u0161\u00edch, m\u016f\u017eeme dos\u00e1hnout i t\u011bchto n\u00edzk\u00fdch \u00farovn\u00ed, v\u00edte, pod 2%, v\u00edte, jeden na 2%.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I kdy\u017e souhlas\u00edme s t\u00edm, \u017ee neexistuje \u017e\u00e1dn\u00e1 epidemie, poznamen\u00e1v\u00e1me tak\u00e9, \u017ee FDA pou\u017e\u00edvala slovo epidemie je\u0161t\u011b v roce 2021, tedy p\u0159edt\u00edm, ne\u017e Dr. King za\u010dal s FDA pracovat.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Snad nejv\u00fdznamn\u011bj\u0161\u00ed prohl\u00e1\u0161en\u00ed, kter\u00e9 z diskuse vze\u0161lo: King uvedl, \u017ee pokles vapov\u00e1n\u00ed u teenager\u016f usnadn\u00ed FDA schvalov\u00e1n\u00ed vapingov\u00fdch produkt\u016f pro dosp\u011bl\u00e9.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">King se samoz\u0159ejm\u011b mnoha na\u0161im ot\u00e1zk\u00e1m vyhnul a vr\u00e1til se k problematice ml\u00e1de\u017ee a nedostate\u010dn\u00e9mu v\u011bdeck\u00e9mu z\u00e1zem\u00ed v \u017e\u00e1dostech o PMTA, ale neposkytl n\u00e1m jasn\u00e9 vysv\u011btlen\u00ed, pro\u010d m\u00e1 tab\u00e1kov\u00fd v\u00fdrobek spole\u010dnosti Logic schv\u00e1len\u00ed neboli MGO a pro\u010d byl zam\u00edtnut neboli MDO u jejich \u00fapln\u011b stejn\u00e9ho produktu s mentolem.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Gregory Conley se zeptal: \u201cDokumenty zve\u0159ejn\u011bn\u00e9 v r\u00e1mci ned\u00e1vn\u00e9ho soudn\u00edho sporu ukazuj\u00ed, \u017ee jste zam\u00edtli rozhodnut\u00ed \u00da\u0159adu pro v\u011bdu, aby zam\u00edtl registraci produkt\u016f Logics Menthol Vaping a mentolov\u00fdch ochucen\u00fdch vapingov\u00fdch produkt\u016f. Je v CTP b\u011b\u017enou prax\u00ed, \u017ee veden\u00ed zam\u00edt\u00e1 rozhodnut\u00ed v\u011bdeck\u00fdch expert\u016f v agentu\u0159e?\u201c<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Na to King odpov\u011bd\u011bl: \u201cAno, tak\u017ee \u0159eknu, \u017ee to je chybn\u00fd popis toho, co se stalo. Ne\u0161lo o p\u0159ehlasov\u00e1n\u00ed. A pak na z\u00e1klad\u011b t\u011bchto v\u011bdeck\u00fdch poznatk\u016f \u010din\u00ed rozhodnut\u00ed a iteruj\u00ed s \u0159editeli. \u00da\u0159ad pro v\u011bdu je tak\u00e9 \u0159editelem Centra pro tab\u00e1kov\u00e9 v\u00fdrobky. A v tomto p\u0159\u00edpad\u011b, ehm, prob\u011bhlo po\u010d\u00e1te\u010dn\u00ed posouzen\u00ed t\u011bchto v\u011bdeck\u00fdch poznatk\u016f a pot\u00e9 prob\u011bhla dal\u0161\u00ed v\u011bdeck\u00e1 diskuse.
