De World Vapers' Alliance heeft kritiek geuit op de nieuwe antitabakwet van de Spaanse regering, die alle alternatieve nicotineproducten gelijkstelt aan traditionele sigaretten. Hoewel het verbod op smaakstoffen en het feitelijke verbod op nicotinezakjes eerder dit jaar al in een apart koninklijk besluit werden gepresenteerd, breidt dit wetsvoorstel het rookverbod uit naar producten met een verminderd risico, waardoor cruciale verschillen met gewone sigaretten verdwijnen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

De World Vapers' Alliance vertelde Planet of the Vapes dat het wetsvoorstel de rookvrije zones uitbreidt naar bar- en restaurantterrassen, stranden, stadions, universiteiten, bushaltes, sommige priv\u00e9voertuigen en andere, en omvat expliciet vapen<\/u>, verwarmde tabaksproducten en nicotinezakjes vallen onder dezelfde beperkingen, ondanks duidelijk bewijs dat ze aanzienlijk lagere risico's met zich meebrengen voor zowel gebruikers als omstanders.<\/p>\n

De organisatie noemde het wetsvoorstel \u201cschokkend<\/i>\u201d"en zegt dat het een aanbeveling van de Europese Commissie volgt om rookvrije zones uit te breiden voor vapen \u2014 "\u201ceen voorstel dat vorig jaar door het Europees Parlement werd afgewezen<\/i>".<\/p>\n
